Kill your TV (or at least cancel your TV service)
All you need to get started is a high speed Internet connection. Simply browse our list of sites offering full episodes of your favorite TV shows. I like to watch TV shows directly on my laptop, so that I can also doodle on the web and work on my computer. When I do want to relax and only watch TV or a movie, I connect my laptop to my TV. As a last resort, if it's a special event or we want a movie night, I connect my laptop to a projector. There are also other devices that you might consider; these connect directly to your TV and pull the content from your Internet connection.
If you are still reading this, then you probably have not killed your TV yet. You are frustrated with your current TV provider or simply looking for a better way to watch TV ... but you need more reasons to make the decision. What would happen if you called your TV provider right now and canceled your subscription? You would save money either because you don't have to pay for this anymore; or because your TV provider doesn't want to lose another customer, he starts offering you discount or free programing. It's going to be extremely tempting to take the offer but it's only delaying the inevitable ... you don't need it anymore!
Here is another important realization to consider; what is the worst that could happen once you canceled your TV programing? Nothing. Also if you really can't live without it, then just get it back and get special offers that will save you money. Bottom line, you can't go wrong with cutting the cord with your TV provider.
Lastly and of course the most important reason to kill your TV; think about all the time that you now have back to do whatever you want (or should I say the stuff that you always say you don't have time to do). You will be amazed with the amount of time wandering around the house thinking about what to do because you are no longer a slave to your TV. This is the most incredible feeling; deprogramming is the key to start choosing what you truly want you life to be.
